There are some tried and true vacation destination that never disappoint – but if you are feeling more adventurous maybe one of these up and comers would be better suited for you.   I have recently sent clients to all of these places, and know they will only become more popular in the future.  Head here now and beat the crowds!!

Colombia – the political scene has stabilized and the  hotels are going up fast.  For a great colonial feel and beach access you can’t beat Cartagena. The Sofitel Santa Clara is a great property – and Virtuoso clients receive an upgrade if available, breakfast daily and a spa credit. Take this savings and splurge on a boat trip to the Rosario Islands.  This will be a trip to remember!

Jordan – the ancient civilization of Petra is fast becoming the new Machu Picchu… the ancient ruins everyone wants to check out.  Pair this with the Kempinski resort in Aqaba on the Red Sea and you will have a view into the past and the future.

Laos – this landlocked neighbor of Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia never gets the same attention – but we think it is pretty special in its own right. We love the Amantaka in the cultural center of Luang Prabang (the night markets are pretty incredible) and if you make ithere a rafting trip in nearby Vang Vieng is a MUST!
