Grace Kelly’s bridal gown at Metropole Hotel

Monte Carlo is one of those unique places that’s great anytime of the year.  It’s always been and still is the epitome of chic on the French Riviera.  Our favorite hotel is the Metropole.

It’s also the epitome of chic.  They always do things a bit different and right now they have a an unusual exhibit commemorating Monaco’s most famous resident.  That was Princess Grace. Nikos Flores, a New York artist, created a replica of Princess Grace’s (Grace Kelly if you’re American and remember) wedding dress.  The sculpture is made of thousands of woven pieces of aluminum using Coca-Cola cans. It’s six and a half feet high and took a year to create.

classictravel.com is pleased to offer online special Virtuoso rates at the Metropole which includes full breakfast and one 85 Euro food and Beverage credit.
