Anantara Medjumbe Resort recently announced their full renovation expected to be completed by November 2015 and we could not be more ready! Located on the glittering Quirimbas Archipelago, Anantara Medjumbe Resort is a small private Mozambique island only 1km long and 350 meters wide, perfect for romantic getaways! The island is known for its colorful coral reefs and breath taking ocean views.

With only 12 beach chalets, Anantara Medjumbe Resort is a true castaway paradise! The 4-month renovations will cover all 12 villas. Large splash pools will replace the plunge pools; and the central main building will receive a brighter and lighter look. The bar will also receive new lighting to create a more intimate environment.

One of the biggest changes of the new Anantara Medjumbe Resort is the implementation of a 400 kWp Solar PV plant. This system will allow the resort to operate with almost 0 pollution and will contribute to the resort’s eco-friendly paradise approach.
