Join The St. Regis Aspen Resort, the iconic mountain retreat nestled at the base of Aspen Mountain, for a memorable Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends over gourmet meals and the resort’s 1st Annual Tree Lighting Ritual. On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, The Restaurant at the St. Regis Aspen Resort celebrates the holiday with a grand, buffet-style menu. Guests will enjoy dishes like Organic Carrot-Curry Soup with fried leeks & avalanche goat cheese; New York Strip Roasted in Salt Crust with wild mushroom demi-glace and Duck Fat Cooked Potato Wedges with herbs. The Restaurant will offer their Thanksgiving menu between 11 am and 4 pm for $95.00 per adult, which includes a celebratory glass of Champagne, and $39.00 per child, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
For guests looking to enjoy the holiday meal at home without spending the day cooking, The St. Regis will offer beautifully prepared meals available for pick-up. With a minimum of 72 hour notice, Chef Thomas Riordan will create holiday classics like Roasted Butternut Squash Bisque with caramelized apples chestnuts and cinnamon whipped cream; Brioche-Rosemary Stuffing and Maple Glazed Organic Whole Turkey with traditional turkey gravy. Dinner for 6-8 people starts at $465.00.
For a rare epicurean experience, consider Thanksgiving dinner at the innovative Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE. With a captivating four course prix fixe that features mouthwatering offerings such as King Crab, Local Rabbit Crepinettes, & Pecan Cake, it is an evening of culinary delights not to miss. Just $75 per person.
On Saturday, November 24, The St. Regis Aspen Resort celebrates their 1st Annual Tree Lighting Ritual from 4 pm—6 pm in the Fountain Courtyard. Open to everyone, the holiday affair will feature visits from Santa Claus, holiday carolers and festive refreshments. Events include Aspen Middle and High School carolers, a visit from Santa Claus, Champagne sobering and toast by General Manager Heather Steenge-Hart and live music by BooCoo. The Ritual will be complimentary and all guests will be invited to enjoy holiday cookies, hot chocolate and Glühwein spiced wine.
There is no better destination to experience the spirit of the season than The St. Regis Aspen Resort. The celebration begins with the “12 Days of Christmas,” holiday countdown and finishes with a festive Christmas Day Brunch.
The “12 Days of Christmas” begins Friday, December 14th and continues for the following 12 days. Each afternoon, The St. Regis Aspen Resort will host a different event, open to guests and the public alike. The festive happenings include, storytelling by local authors, Teddy Bear Teas to benefit The Shining Stars Foundation, Après Tea specials and buffets, gingerbread cookie decoration and house design with Pastry Chef Michael Kotacka, Holiday ornament making with The Aspen Art Museum and more!
On December 15th, a new menu launches at Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE. Chefs Club by FOOD & WINE handpicks four of FOOD & WINE Magazine’s Best New Chefs bi-annually to highlight their individual styles in the restaurant’s menu. It is our pleasure to welcome Matt Lightner of Atera in New York City; Jonathon Sawyer of The Greenhouse Tavern & Noodlecat in Cleveland, Ohio; Kevin Willmann of Farmhaus in Saint Louis, Mo.; & Jenn Louis of Lincoln Restaurant & Sunshine Tavern in Portland, Ore. for the winter of 2012/2013.
On December 25th, join The St. Regis for Christmas Day Brunch in The Restaurant, along with a special appearance by Santa Claus.
