To get the inside scoop sometimes we often go to our friends and Virtuoso partners in the know. We ask Carlos Quereda what’s happening at a few of the hotels he represents. The first stop was South Africa!
Saxon Boutique Hotel, Johannesburg & Shambala Game Reserve, South Africa
Just came back from there, it was the most amazing service ever! Try to book 2 nights at the Saxon as most guest are disappointed to spend only one night after the Safari; Shambala is just mind blowing, only 2h30 from Joburg and I saw the big five, malaria free, eight cabins each one with its own vehicle and guide so they tailor made your Safari at your taste without sharing the vehicle or the experience with strangers, just perfect. Totally agree with you!! I could have stayed at the Saxon for three nights!
Terre Blanche, Provence, France
They are doing an amazing job creating activities not only at the resort but around it in order to showcase the beauty of Pays de Fayence, the east area of Provence. Plus we are featuring a 7 days tour program all around Provence here 7 Days Tours in Provence and all the family activities around the resort Family Activities; and believe me, the guests are really happy with the new direction of the Hotel has taken.
Borgo Egnazia, Puglia, Italy
Undoubtedly the wedding of the Timberlake’s in October at the property was a major impact for the beautiful and trendy Borgo Egnazia, but we live in the present and Borgo is doing amazingly well, with parties at the Beach Club with the best dj’s in Europe, Contemporary Jazz nights, Film premier screenings, etc is developing a fame not only for beach, food and authentic Puglia lifestyle, but also the arts!
Last but not least, the Hotel I consider the best, more charming and historical beach Resort in Spain…and now also with the newest and best room product, a wonderful concept of Villa exclusive for the kids club and finally its own Fitness Center with amazing views of the gardens…simply on a league on its own, believe me!
